吕布知道董卓携貂蝉入府，收为姬妾，心怀不满。一日，吕乘董卓上朝时节，入府窥探貂蝉，并邀至凤仪亭相会，貂蝉见吕，假意哭诉被董霸占之苦，吕布愤怒。这时董卓回府撞见，怒而抢过戟来，直刺吕布，吕飞身逃走。从此两人互相猜忌，王允便说动吕布，剪除了董卓。
