The Super Mario Bros. Movie xoay quanh cuộc phiêu lưu ở thế giới Vương quốc Nấm của anh em thợ sửa ống nước Mario và Luigi. Izumo, helped by an orphaned glider pilot named Navi, must now take up the sacred sword of his country, master its powers, and rescue Sanae.
