A filmmaker and an actress travel towards a remote location, in search of a particular house, and of inspiration for their next movie. The region is Douro, and the house belonged to Manoel de Oliveira, where he took refuge to create many of his works.

Cananga is a short documentary that explores how my grandfather's backyard became a personification of his life as a man of the sea and a reflection of his persona. Guided by the ballads by him composed, we discover not only his musical ability, but also the deep emocional connections that link the family to history, music and life at sea.

Through the routine of the inhabitants of Sintra and Cascais, using the railway lines as well as photographs in movement, a portrait of these villages is painted, both daughters of Lisbon, a capital that is pushing people out of it.

Eugénio de Andrade (1923-2005) is one of the greatest Portuguese poets. He was born in Póvoa de Atalaia, a village in the interior center of Portugal. The film visits the place where his house still exists.

"Ecos da Vermelha" shows the activities of the resistance to the Estado Novo (Portuguese fascist regime) in the city of Vila Franca de Xira, from the early 30's to 1974. Through the eyes of several witnesses that lived those dictatorship years, the film highlights the different initiatives and events that happened on those years on a political, social and cultural level, showing actions in the collectivities, the gathering in the taverns, the church's role and also some important events like the 1967 floods or the 1969 elections.

“One Minute Show Time” uses magazine and book clippings, with iconic images from the recent past, to create, in a sequence of mini-sketches, a narrative as entertaining as it is fatalistic.
