The devil's grandmother sends her grandson to visit the Punch and Judy family. The devil hypocritically promises to behave in an exemplary manner, but does the opposite. He secretly eats the pudding, smashes the bowl, lies through his teeth and flees when he is caught by the policeman. Punch and the policeman pursue him and catch him with great difficulty. The adventure ends with a clear defeat for the devil and the devil's grandmother's anger at her clumsy grandson, who has once again been caught out.
The devil is trapped in Kasper's fridge, but it is stolen by robbers and the devil escapes. He steals Kasper's car and flees. Kasper pursues him to hell and has a friendly conversation with the devil's grandmother. She decides that Kasper will get his car back and the devil will be punished with house arrest.

When he looks into the cauldron, he sees his captain, the marshal and the king sitting in it. They beg the soldier to help them to freedom. But the soldier remembers what these three had done to him on earth and seals the cauldron so tightly that the captain, marshal and king can never return. Now the soldier returns to earth reassured.
The count, an evil robber baron, appropriates the last of his peasants' cows. Till Eulenspiegel hires himself out as a tower blower to the wild journeyman and causes the count and his cronies to blindly leave the castle by raising a false alarm.
Beppo Bastelmann and his dog Bolli Spürnase track down Wattfraß. He is hiding in a kitchen where numerous electrical appliances are switched on. When Beppo and Bolli find him here, the electricity devil flees on the streetcar and escapes into the room of a thoughtless employee who has surrounded himself with numerous heaters and lamps. Wattfraß feels at home here and sings his little song of joy. But Beppo and Bolli track him down and don't let him escape again.

During a football match, three mice kick a few stones that hit a sleeping lion on the head. Then the ball lands in front of him and a mouse rolls after it. The little mouse, trembling, asks the lion for his ball and gets away scot-free. A little later, the mice hear a loud roar from the nearby forest. They run after the noise and discover the lion in a trap. Together they free him with a trick and ride off on his back.

When Faust refuses to enter the service of evil, his wife, child and home are destroyed by the flame. Faust makes another pact with Mephisto and invents a fire that blows up knights and devils. This time, Death orders him to discover the fire of life.
For his mockery a witch transforms the pert boy Jacob into an ugly dwarf, but teaches him at the same time how to cook.
