The son of a wealthy businessman (Alan Tam) sees Yun Bai (Lin Feng-Jiao) at an art exhibition for the very first time and falls in love with her. Soon he finds out that Yun Bai doesn't like men who are lazy and who don't have to do anything for their money. Hsiao Chi (Alan Tam) wants to do whatever he has to do to get this wonderful girl and is lying to her that he's a poor artist. Yun Bai falls in love with him and now he wants to reveal his real identity. But how can he do it without losing her again?
A Singaporean-made comedy about a group of 18 year old boys who are beginning the mandatory two-year military service in the Singapore army. Despite their different racial and family backgrounds, they discover many similarities and forge a friendship which would help ease their transition to the tough army routine.
This is the story of three ladies who live together in an apartment in Hong Kong and what happens to them. First, there is Shuxian, whose husband left her and has a son in the hospital who can't walk. Then, there is Meifen, a romance novelist who pines for a deceased lover and, finally Manli, a young lady with some sass who is expecting a visit from Mr. Zheng, a man she has been a pen pal with for a year. She also has been dating someone else, not happily. The film goes through all three lives.
Helen Li Mei plays the role of an alcoholic who, in a state of drunkenness, mistakenly hires a mafia boss to kill herself. Li has often been compared to singer/actress Bai Guang who is also renowned for her femme fatale image. Both actresses impress the audience with a combination of their stunning beauty and the subtle sexiness of their exceptional performance.
Jin Wenou falls out with his business-minded father when he decides on painting instead of studying business. Mary, his fiancée, finances him to get his own studio. One day his dying father wishes to see Mary. Unable to contact her, Wenou gets Wanping to stand in. Wenou's father miraculously recovers upon seeing Wanping. He is infuriated when Wenou tells him that his fiancée is actually Mary and declares Wanping as the only heiress to his fortune.
At the end of the Ming Dynasty, the bandit Zhang Xianzhong, fearing that his treasures may be seized by the Manchurians, entrusts his henchman Yun to escort it to Mount Mei for safekeeping. However, Yun has made arrangements with the Manchurian spy Jin to ambush the treasure on the way to Mount Mei.
Ostensibly a romantic comedy about mistaken identity, this film stars Kitty Ting Hao in two roles, the first as poor flower girl Fangfang and rich relation of a family in Hong Kong, who arrived in Hong Kong to see if she can feel better with the warmer climate. She meets Xihong, played by Kelly Lai Chen, who is the son in the family in Hong Kong. He is, of course, smitten with her, but when the secret is out, will he still feel the same?
It tells the story about the adventures of Taj and his friend Mubarak in search of the Bakawali Flower to cure the eyes of the King who suddenly went blind when he saw Taj's face. He went through many trials and temptations during the adventure including from a charismatic witch (Princess Jenuh Hati). Finally he met the Bakawali Flower which can only be found in the forbidden garden belonging to Princess Saharazad which is strictly controlled by the fierce Jinn
