Ignatz Mouse is hired to sell a prefabricated house to the local brick foundry owner Kelly by a corrupt realtor. But Krazy Kat's simple home (made from two umbrellas) bothers Kelly. The trio becomes embroiled in a battle of wits as to whose house is better.

The well-meaning but bumbling Baby Huey decides to give his father a wonderful Father's Day he won't forget, and does just that. His well-intentioned plans lead to one disaster after another and his father ends up in bandages in the hospital. And then has a relapse when Huey says he is planning another wonderful day on his birthday.

Two of Popeye's nephews get caught playing with fireworks on the Fourth of July. Popeye takes them away, and they spend the rest of the picture trying to get them back (mostly by getting Popeye away from them).

A mad scientist invents an anti-gravity machine, and is using it to create havoc on earth. Casper, the Friendly Ghost, gets involved with the mad-man and eventually forces him to destroy the machine and bring earth back to earth.

A sleep-walking baby owl finds its way in Herman's house, and the friendly mouse makes friends with it. But the owl arouses Katnip, who takes out after it, but Herman always manages to rescue the little owl. The owl finally makes a nest for its self out of Katnip's fur which Herman has stripped off.

The Grand Wizard arrives to see Stanley the Sorcerer perform one successful spell. Honey and Fraidy Bat help him fool the Wizard.

The half-blind Sir Blur, who is both knight and mailman, torments a blacksmith with his bumbling.

A boy on another planet builds a ray-gun and breaks something in his house and is sent out by his mother to go play in space.

Ignatz find out that true friends can't be bought.

The Cat goes out West to clean up a rough town.

Popeye opens a diner; Bluto pulls one up right across the street. Wimpy comes along, and they compete for his business. The competition escalates, until finally they are throwing things at each other; Wimpy stands between them and snags a complete meal from the stream of objects passing overhead. Another spinach-free Popeye.

Pal so much wants to go to school with Audrey, but she shoos him away. Audrey then has to rescue Pal from a sadistic dogcatcher.

Creepers tries to get Jeepers to get the courage to ask for a date with a bathing beauty that Jeepers knew as a "puppy." Jeepers helps Creepers look for his old girlfriend.
