November 11, 1918. The world emerges from the most horrific conflict ever known. While leaders of the victorious countries design a new world order, traumatized societies struggle to find their footing. In the aftermath of war the Russian, German, Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman Empires fall apart, currencies fluctuate wildly, and vast numbers of refugees flee misery. Before long, age-old hatreds, fears, and resentments resurface and drive the world to the brink of a new apocalypse.

Nine teens on the edge of academic failure embark on an incredible three-month life makeover with the help of a “swat team” of health and wellness experts.

RDI en direct is the main news program on the French-Canadian 24-hour news network RDI. It airs during most of the day, from 6am to 6pm ET, interrupted only by the national editions of Le Téléjournal at 8am ET and 12 Noon ET.

The series bears witness to the dedication of the staff to residents with a loss of autonomy, and takes a sensitive look at the human and social issues they face.
