Tonårsvampyren Sasha är inte som andra vampyrer – hon har ett stort problem. Till skillnad från de andra vampyrerna kommer Sashas huggtänder inte ut när hon är hungrig eller rädd. Hon behöver istället känna en stark personlig koppling till sitt offer – något som inte alltid är så lätt att uppnå. En dag träffar hon Paul, en osäker och gravt deprimerad tonåring, som är övertygad om att han aldrig kommer att kunna njuta av någonting i livet. De båda finner varandra och Paul går med på att bli Sashas nästa offer. Men deras överenskommelse leder till ett nattligt äventyr där de försöker att uppfylla Pauls sista önskningar. Paul har nämligen en lista över saker han vill fullfölja, innan han dör.
