Victor Marswell är storviltsjägare i Kenya. Eloise Kelly är på genomresa men hamnar hos Victor efter ett missat möte och en plötslig attraktion blossar upp. Antropologen Donald Nordley anländer med sin fru Linda till Victors farm.
