I stället har Luc Besson ersatt aktörerna med allehanda havslevande kreatur, en märkligare än en annan. Kulisserna finner man i verklighetens hav och förutom den korta narrativa monologen i början är det enda som hörs havets ljud och Eric Serras musik.
