Sing är en hjälplös och feg småtjuv i det kaotiska Kina på 1940-talet, som nästan skulle göra allt för att bli medlem i det ökända maffiagänget Axe Gang. När han försöker råna en frisör i bostadsområdet Pig Sty Alley, som fejkad Axe Gang-medlem misslyckas han helt då de boende i området inte riktigt är lika vanliga som de ser ut att vara. Det enda han lyckas med är få Axe-gang att vilja hämnas.

Chef Rubio's journey in search of the real ones flavors of the Far East will affect Thailand, China and Vietnam. As always, the chef will alternate stages in large cities with stages in small country villages, in order to show the public what the real local gastronomy is.
