Bliss är skruvad kärlekshistoria som följer Greg (Owen Wilson) när han, efter att nyss ha skiljt sig och sen fått sparken, möter den mystiska Isabel (Salma Hayek) som lever på gatan och är övertygad om att den förorenade, trasiga världen runt dem, bara är en datorsimulering. Greg är till en börja tveksam, men upptäcker att det kan ligga en viss sanning i Isabels vilda konspirationsteori.
Snygga och smarta Alexis är trött på sin efterhängsna pojkvän, Justin som efter bara fem dater pratar om att flytta ihop och hör bröllopsklockorna ringa. När Alexis förklarar läget, blir Justin desperat. För att få henne tillbaka hyr han in sin bästa kompis, megasvinet Tank, för att bjuda ut Alexis på världshistoriens vidrigaste date. Tank är nämligen suverän på att få ex-pojkvänner att framstå som värsta kapen, jämfört med ett ofräscht äckel som sig själv. Dessvärre funkar inte planen som beräknat, då Alexis tydligen har en förkärlek till sliskiga as. När Tank trycker på de rätta knapparna, blir Alexis minst sagt heltänd.
Twelve years ago, the Earth was attacked by giant invaders. To defend our planet, the Earth's greatest minds and corporations assembled to design a giant robot of incredible power. Unfortunately, as with most government projects, the contract went to the lowest bidder. Fortunately, by the time the robot was ready, the mysterious invaders had already disappeared without a trace. The giant robot became first a curiosity, then a tourist attraction. But now the invaders are back and the only thing in their way is Dai-Guard and a young team of office workers who've been supplementing their regular incomes as part time pilots and tour guides. Can these reluctant heroes halt their alien foes while simultaneously concealing the defects in their giant robot?
The series is based on the manga Tokusatsu Gagaga, a comedy manga by Tanba Niwa. Tokusatsu Gagaga series follows Kano Nakamura, an office lady played by Fuka Koshiba, who is secretly a tokusatsu otaku, a toku-ota. She lives her life by the code of tokusatsu heroes and often envisions herself as one as a means to make it through her daily struggles.
