Den 15-årige Jim Hawkins älskar utmaningar, något det inte är särskilt gott om på planeten Montressor där han bor. Och framför allt inte på värdhuset där han jobbar med sin mamma. Men när han en dag får en mystisk stjärnkarta i sin hand startar hans livs största äventyr. Kartan visar nämligen vägen till en plats som sägs dölja en otrolig skatt av guld och juveler.
En helt vanlig natt börjar plötsligt ett helt samhälle att läggas i mörker och ovanliga ljusfenomn börjar att uppträda på natthimlen. Från elverket skickas Roy Neary ut för att försöka reparera felen, men på väg till en av nätstationerna kör han vilse. Plötsligt skakas hela bilen fruktansvärt och han bländas av ett oerhört starkt sken. Roy och några andra människor är de första som kommer i närkontakt med ett UFO, ett oidentifierat föremål.
The Fountain of Life is the source of all life forces in the Bosco World. Princess Apricot, who is supposed to become Queen of Fountainland-the Guardian of the Fountain of Life-is kidnapped by villains who aim to rule the Bosco World. If Princess Apricot can't take the queen's throne by the next solar eclipse, the Fountain of Life will dry up. The animals living in the forest of Bosco, including Frog, Otter and Tortoise, decide to help Princess and take her to Fountainland in order to protect their peaceful life in the Bosco World. So begins the journey in a balloon full of dreams, hope, adventures, and love!
