Jack Walsh är en före detta polis som numera är prisjägare. Mot en belöning på 100 000 dollar får han i uppdrag att hitta Jonathan Mardukas, en efterlyst förskingrare och föra honom till domstol för att vittna mot sin förre maffiaboss. Men det visar sig bli aningen svårt att få med Mardukas hem. Jack har nämligen maffian, FBI och en av sina kollegor efter sig!
