John ska flytta efter att ha bott tio år i området. Hans vänner ger honom ett oväntat besök för att säga farväl. En väninna kommenterar att han inte har åldrats en dag på tio år. De finner också en personligt dedikerad äkta Van Gogh i Johns packning. Efter en del frågor börjar John berätta om sitt liv som började som grottmänniska för 14 000 år sedan.
