Franklin is an Canadian educational animated television series, based on the Franklin the Turtle books by Brenda Clark and Paulette Bourgeois. The television series was named after its main character, Franklin the Turtle. It was produced by PolyGram Television, Alphanim, LuxAnimation, Nelvana, Neurones Enterprises, Reader's Digest for Young Families, TF1, Funbag Animation Studios, Europool, Mini TFO, and Family Channel, and syndicated by Summit Entertainment.

Ye Xiao Tian is working as a prison guard at the Ministry of Justice of the Ming dynasty. Upon receiving a testament, he leaves the capital and travels to Huguang province. Due to a freak combination of factors, he ends up pretending to be a government official, but takes his “position” seriously and fights for justice, gaining the love of the people.

This is especially true for the first series Professor Drøvels Hemmelighet, where the story frequently diverges from the main plot for entire episodes, only to jump back to the plot in the last minute. In the other series, the story is more centered around the actual plot.

Pirates: Adventures in Art is a Canadian animated children's television show produced by DHX Media. The Creative Producer and Executive Story Editor for the show is award-winner Jed MacKay, and is produced by Katrina Walsh. Its theme song is sung by multi-award-winning Canadian band Great Big Sea.
