Eden izmed bolj znanih obskurnih ter nenavadnih filmov je gotovo Blade Runner. Mojstrovina Ridleyja Scotta je kategorija zase – znanstvenofantastični noir film, kjer je Los Angeles antiutopično ozadje teme ter mračnosti.

Homer, ki zavoljo svoje večne nesreče povzroči katastrofo svetovnih razsežnosti. Springfield je nad njim razočaran in tudi radoživi sin Bart, ki skuša novo družino najti pri vedno prijaznem sosedu Flandersu, ki želi prevzgojiti nagajivega dečka, a je to račun brez krčmarja.

Miroljubni družinski mož in oče Bryan Mills (nekdanji agent z zanimivo in bogato preteklostjo) ne beži več pred najhujšimi zločinci zdajšnjih časov, temveč pred policijo Los Angelesa, Cio in FBI-jem. Te vodi Franck Dotzler (Forest Whitaker), potem ko Mills (Liam Neeson) med aretacijo pobegne policiji. Kajti Bryanu je nekdo podtaknil umor nekdanje soproge (Famke Jansen), v nevarnosti pa je tudi njegova hči Kim (Maggie Grace), ki je zdaj uspešna študentka na univerzi UCLA.

Scott Lang skuša uravnovesiti svoji vlogi superjunaka in očeta, ko ga Hope van Dyne in dr. Hank Pym soočita z novo misijo. Ant-Man se bo moral tokrat boriti ob boku odločne Ose, pri tem pa se bodo razkrile mnoge skrivnosti iz preteklosti. Njegova posebnost je zanimiva in unikatna supermoč, da se lahko skrči in hkrati poseduje nadčloveške moči. V nadaljevanju zgodbe se Scott spopada z obveznostmi družinskega človeka in superheroja obenem in skuša balansirati med obema vlogama, ko ga dr. Hank Pym in Hope van Dyne soočita z novo misijo. Scott si mora ponovno nadeti junaško obleko in se ob boku z Oso odpraviti na nevarno misijo, tam pa se razkrijejo mnoge skrivnosti iz preteklosti. Če nima posebne oprave, je Scott le povprečen družinski človek brez posebnih moči. Osa nam na začetku pokaže svojo trmasto voljo in odločnost, da ne potrebuje moškega partnerja, vendar sčasoma ugotovita, da sta le skupaj neustavljiva dvojica, ki bo kos novi nevarnosti, saj so njune sposobnosti res edinstvene.

Futuristični thriller o borbi človeka, ki želi ponovno prevzeti kontrolo nad svojimi mislimi in usodo, je režiral Alex Proyas. John Murdoch se zbudi v neznanem hotelu in ugotovi, da ga policija išče zaradi serije okrutnih umorov. Problem je v tem, da se ne more spomniti ali je umore tudi v resnici zagrešil ali ne. Še več.
