Gladiátorské hry však nie sú tou hlavnou hrou, ktorú Marcus hrá. Premyslený stratég si uvedomuje slabosť ríše, ktorej vládnu dvaja šialení cisári, Caracalla a Geta, a rozohráva riskantnú hru, v ktorej gladiátor a zároveň právoplatný dedič rímskeho trónu Lucius, jeho matka Lucilla a generál Acacius, jej manžel a muž, ktorého jej syn na smrť nenávidí za to, že mu zničil život, bojujú na pomyselnej šachovnici. Chystá sa stret, pri ktorom krv potečie nielen Koloseom, ale aj ulicami Ríma.

O tom, ako sa stať strojcom svojho šťastia, rozpráva jeden z najlepších a najoriginálnejších sci-fi filmov v histórii. Christopher Lloyd zostrojil stroj na cestovanie časom a Michael J. Fox s jeho pomocou odcestuje do minulosti. Omylom sa ale ocitne v inej dobe, ako chcel a bude mať veľa práce, dať všetko do poriadku.

George Clooney a Meryl Streep propůjčili své hlasy hlavním postavám zábavného a dojemného animovaného dobrodružství od vizionářského režiséra Wese Andersona. Pan a paní Foxovi (George Clooney a Meryl Streep) žijí ve šťastné a poklidné domácnosti společně se svým výstředním synem Ashem (Jason Schwartzman) a synovcem Kristoffersonem, jenž je u nich na návštěvě. Pak si ale pan Fox vzpomene na staré dobré loupežnické časy a zosnuje největší kuřecí loupež, jakou kdy svět zvířat zažil. Film Fantastický pan Lišák, který vznikl na motivy oblíbeného bestselleru Roalda Dahla (Karlík a továrna na čokoládu), nabízí rodinnou zábavu v té nejlepší podobě.

Stredoškolák Marty McFly uskutočnil predtým prostredníctvom auta času svojho priateľa, "Doca" Emmeta Browna, výlety do roku 1955 a do roku 2015. Hdinovov východiskový čas je stále rok 1985. Vinou prepletených časových rovín, spôsobeného Martyho predchádzajúcimi cestami za "opravami" minulosti a budúcnosti, však Brown zostal bez možnosti návratu uväznený v roku 1885.

Sotva sa Marty spamätal zo svojej cesty do minulosti, objaví sa stroj času v podobe lietajúceho auta a jeho priateľ doktor Brown. V zhone naloží Martyho i jeho priateľku Jennifer a odletí s nimi do budúcnosti, do roku 2015, aby spoločne zachránili Martyho syna, ktorého partia výrastkov núti ku krádeži. Marty, ktorý je synovi na nerozoznanie podobný sa s partiou stretne po naháňačke na lietajúcich skateboardoch a dosiahne ich zatknutie.

Danny La Russo sa presťahuje s matkou z New Jersey do Kalifornie. V novom prostredí sa mu príliš nepáči, zvlášť keď sa hneď na začiatku dostane do konfliktu s miestnou bandou výrastkov, vedených sebavedomým Johnym, ktorý neznáša, že sa Danny úspešne dvojí jeho bývalému dievčaťu Ali. Danny zaháji súťaž váhavo, ale postupne sa zlepšuje a dostane sa až do finále…

Daniel a jeho učiteľ, pán Miyagi, sa ocitajú na začiatku ďalšieho karate dobrodružstva pre mládež. Nad Danielom sa totiž sťahujú mraky. Agresívny učiteľ karate, ktorého Daniel svojim víťazstvom v prvom filme znemožnil, sa zdvíha z prachu porazených a spoločne so svojim nechutne bohatým a podlým žiakom chystajú rafinovanú pomstu.
