A once-wealthy dreamer arrives in Mexico City, hoping for a fresh start. However, the relentless chaos of the city overwhelms him, pulling him into a spiral of misfortune that leads to poverty and the grip of alcoholism.

The story follows Ricardo, a successful businessman who is unfaithful to his wife, Elsa. When Elsa discovers his infidelity, she decides to take matters into her own hands by plotting his demise. However, her plan quickly becomes more complicated than expected, involving others in unexpected ways and leading to unforeseen consequences.
