Filmul e un spin-off al serialului italian „Gomorra”. După ce a fost împușcat în piept de Genny, singurul lui prieten adevărat, Ciro se scufundă în apele întunecate ale golfului orașului Napoli. Pe măsură ce se îndreaptă spre străfunduri, amintirile încep să iasă la suprafață. Este 1980. Un cutremur puternic distruge clădiri întregi. Din moloz se aude plânsetul unui bebeluș nou-născut.
