Stephen Chow interpreta Iron, um pai amoroso e pobre que trabalha tantas horas que mal tem tempo para ficar com seu jovem filho. Sem meios para comprar o brinquedo da moda que seu filho pede com insistência, Iron leva para casa um "bichinho de estimação” misterioso que encontra em meio ao lixo. Quando descobrem que a criaturinha fofa é na verdade um extraterrestre que adora se divertir e pode realizar feitos incríveis, tanto o pai quanto o filho aprendem lições importantes que mudaram suas vidas.

DoDo, The Kid from Outer Space was an animated cartoon series that was syndicated to television from 1965-1970. DoDo was a young extraterrestrial from the planet Hena Hydro, who came to Earth in his flying saucer and had numerous adventures. Other cast members included Professor Fingers, an eccentric scientist who somewhat resembled the later Professor Utonium; Compy, DoDo's computer/duck hybrid pet; and Why and How, two Earth children. Despite his foreign origins, he, along with Astra, were readily accepted into the pantheon of the Ultra Brothers. During his tenure on Earth, Leo and Seven became very close, and it was for this reason that Seven would eventually entrust the training of his son Ultraman Zero to Leo and Astra.
