Den unge fotografen Chris Washington inviteres hjem til kjærestens familie for en langweekend på landet. Han er bekymret for at de ikke vil like ham fordi han er afroamerikansk, men kjæresten, Rose, beroliger ham med at han har ingenting å frykte. Vel framme får han snart bange anelser. Innbyggerne i nærområdet er i overkant interesserte i få vite alt om ham, og alle tjenerne på godset oppfører seg som passive, smilende zombier. Er det bare noe Chris innbiller seg, eller foregår det noe skremmende under den rolige, småborgerlige fasaden.

Shaun er et forhold med Liz. Liz mener forholdet ikke er så givende som hun ønsker. De får litt lite tid sammen og bruker bare tid på sin stampub. Men så kommer det opp en krisesituasjon som de aldri kunne forberedt seg på. En sykdom har spredd seg som en epedemi i England. Den gjør folk om til trege hensynsløse zombier. Men det tar lang tid for Shaun og hans kamerat Ed som han bor sammen med å finne ut hva som virkelig skjer når forholdet hans med Liz er skrantende. Det er også vanskelig for Shaun å velge mellom venner og sin kjæreste. Men zombietrusselen blir større og større for hver time og snart har han kun tid og veien for Shaun som må for en gangs skyld tenke klart og raskt for å forsøke å overleve og redde sine kjære og venner fra denne grusomme plagen...

Eddie Murphy er filmens ubestridte komediekonge. Og i "Amerika For Mine Føtter" er Murphy også komedieprinsen - en steinrik og bortskjemt afrikansk prins som kommer til Amerika for å finne seg en kone. Sammen med sin nærmeste kompanjong finner Murphy seg fort en jobb, nye venner, et nytt sted å bo og nye fiender - og masse trøbbel.

Columbus har gjort det til vane å stikke av fra det som skremmer ham. Tallahassee har ingen bekymringer, hadde han hatt det, ville han gått på en udødelig hodejakt. I en verden oversvømt av zombier har disse to overlevende tilpasset seg godt. Nå står de imidlertid ovenfor det mest skremmende scenariet av alle: hverandre.

Tropic Thunder, er en actionkomedie om en gruppe selvopptatte skuespillere som bestemmer seg for å lage den beste krigsfilmen noensinne. Et budsjett som blåses ut av alle proporsjoner (og egoet til de selvsenterte skuespillerne) truer med å sette en stopper for hele filmen. Den frustrerte regissøren bestemmer seg for å forlate settet, og lede hele besetningen inn i tjukkeste jungelen i sørøst Asia for "økt realisme", hvor de møter på ekte skurker.

Universitetet skjærer ned på sin parapsykologiske avdeling, og forskerne Dr. Venkmann, Dr. Stantz og Dr. Spengler danner firmaet "Ghostbusters", som spesialiserer seg på å utrydde overnaturlige plageånder. Da den henrivende Dana Barret oppdager at kjøleskapet hennes er en inngangsdør til den åndelige verden, stilles våre helter ansikt til ansikt med en gammel, ond kraft som vil bruke alle midler for å forvandle Manhattan til et helvete.

Sidney Prescott har kommet seg på beina siden sist og har bl.a. skrevet en selvhjelpsbok. Woodsboro er siste stopp på bokturnèen, og hun får et gledelig gjensyn med Sheriff Dewey og Gale, som nå er gift. Hun treffer også sin kusine og sin tante Kate. Dessverre får hennes tilstedeværelse også SKRIK-morderen til å dukke opp, noe som setter Sidney, Gale, Dewey, Jill og hele Woodsboro i stor fare.

Filmen "Stab 3" som stiller foruroligende spørsmål om de morderiske hendelsene i byen Woodsboro er under innspilling i Hollywood. Men en morder skjult bak en fryktelig "Skriket"-maske tar livet av skuespillerne i samme rekkefølge som i manus. Samtidig sitter den forskremte Sidney Prescott langt unna alt dette. Når redslene begynner for alvor, blir hennes fredelige liv snudd opp ned. For alltid...
