"Ringenes Herre" forteller om den unge hobbitten Frodo som arver en tilsynelatende uskyldig ring av sin fetter, Bilbo. Frodo oppdager at ringens opprinnelige skaper, den onde trollmannen Sauron, desperat leter etter ringen. For det er en ring med mange onde krefter som kan gjøre det mulig for Sauron å forhekse beboerne i Midgard. Skal ringen miste sin kraft, må den kastes i Dommedags juv i Mordors land. Et utvalgt følge blir med hobbitten Frodo i spissen, og begir seg i vei på det store oppdraget, en vandring fylt av eventyr og utfordringer.

Brorskapets reise nærmer seg slutten. Saurons hær har angrepet Gondors hovedstad Minas Tirith i det siste slaget mot menneskeheten, og med bare rikshovmesteren som leder har det en gang så stolte kongeriket aldri hatt større behov for sin konge. Men kommer Aragorn til å finne den indre styrke han behøver for å akseptere den rolle skjebnen har bestemt han skal spille - kommer han til å kunne ta rollen han ble født til? Og ikke minst - vil Frodo klare å tilintetgjøre ringen?

Brorskapet har blitt splittet, men målet om å tilintetgjøre ringen er ennå ikke fullbyrdet. Frodo og Sam legger sine liv i Gollums hender for å finne veien til Mordor. Mens Sarumans hær nærmer seg, må de overlevende i brorskapet, sammen med mennesker og alver fra Midgard, forberede seg til strid. Krigen om ringen har startet.

Reisefølgets ferd fortsetter østover i Midgard. Underveis møter de hamskifteren Beorn som ikke alltid er like lett å ha med å gjøre. I den forræderske skogen Myrkskog må de hanskes med ondskapsfulle og motbydelige edderkopper og mystiske og farlige skogalver. Etter en stopp i Langsjøby når de til slutt reisens mål: Ensomfjellet. I tillegg til at mot og visdom vil bli testet til det aller ytterste, vil vennskapet i reisefølget bli satt på prøve under møte med den største faren av alle - den mektige dragen Smaug.

Før Milo vet ord av det er han på båten med et mannskap Whitmore hyret til ekspedisjonen. Sammen med Dr. Sweet, mekanikerjenta Audrey og mange flere kjemper de seg igjennom en vanskelig vei, fylt med et urtidsmønster og mange skapninger før de endelig kommer frem til Atlantis. Her møter Milo den vakre prinsessen Kida, men oppdager at noen av de andre av mannskapet har andre planer med byen...

Animasjonsfilm basert på Tolkiens fantasibøker Hobbitten og Ringenes herre. Hobbitene dras inn i kampen om herskerringen for å få slutt på Saurons makt over Midtgård. Dettte er en adapsjon av første halvdel av J.R.R. Tolkiens Ringenes herre.

Peter Potamus is an animated television series produced by Hanna-Barbera. The main segment featuring Peter Potamus and his diminutive sidekick So-So the monkey. Peter is big, purple, and friendly, dressed in a safari jacket and hat. Episodes generally consisted of Peter and So-So exploring the world in his hot air balloon, which was capable of time travel at the spin of a dial. When faced with a precarious situation, Peter uses his Hippo Hurricane Holler to blow away his opponents. The second segment, Breezly and Sneezly, featured a polar bear named Breezly Bruin and his friend Sneezly the Seal who used various schemes to break into an army camp in the frozen north, while trying to stay one step ahead of the camp's leader Colonel Fuzzby. The final segment, Yippee, Yappee and Yahooey, featured three dogs named Yippee, Yappee, and Yahooey who work for the King, a short, complaining ruler who is often on the receiving end of their antics.

Tarzan: The Epic Adventures is a syndicated series that aired for one season. It focuses on the character of Tarzan in his early years, after his first exposure to civilization, but before his marriage to Jane. The series uses much of the mythology of Edgar Rice Burroughs' books as background material. This version of Tarzan was filmed in the Sun City resort in South Africa, making it one of the few Tarzan productions to actually film on that continent. The character of Nicholas Rokoff, and the fact that Tarzan is not yet married, set this series in-between the two halves of The Return of Tarzan. R. A. Salvatore wrote an authorized Tarzan novel based on pilot script which was published as a trade-paperback in 1996, and a mass-market paperback in 1997.
