Brorskapets reise nærmer seg slutten. Tiden går og den nysgjerrige Simba lærer seg å takle farer som en blivende konge kan bli utsatt for. Han følger sin far, får kloke råd av bavianen Rafiki og leker med kompisen Nala. En dag skjer det noe forferdelig, Mufasa forsvinner sporløst – og før man vet ordet av det har Scar overtatt tronen! Simba blir jaget ut av flokken og må klare seg i den store verden helt alene. Langt borte fra familien treffer han marekatten Timon og vortesvinet Pumbaa, som blir hans nye venner. Men en dag vender Simba tilbake til løveriket for å gjenvinne sin plass som Løvenes Konge...

Disneys Løvenes konge, regissert av Jon Favreau, tar oss til den afrikanske savannen, hvor en fremtidig konge blir født. Simba idoliserer faren sin, Kong Mufasa, og finner i ham sin egen skjebne som konge. Men ikke alle i Løveriket feirer det nye barnets ankomst. Mufasas bror Scar, tidligere arvtager til tronen, har egne planer. Kampen om Løveklippen blir full av forræderi, tragedie og drama, som til slutt fører Simba inn i eksil. Med hjelp fra et artig par nye venner, må Simba finne ut hvordan man blir voksen, og ta tilbake det som er rettmessig hans. Disneys Løvenes konge bruker ny filmteknologi for å gi de kjente og kjære karaktereneliv på en helt ny måte.

Edmund og Lucy Pevensie, samt deres fetter Eustace blir via et maleri transportert tilbake til Narnia og det fantastiske skipet "Morgenrødmens Vind". De blir med Prins Caspian og den fryktløse musen Ripipip på et tokt som Narnias skjebne er avhengig av. Den modige gruppen møter fristelser de må kjempe i mot når de beveger seg til de mystiske øyene i Narnia. De blir konfrontert med magiske skikkelser og skumle fiender til de endelig møter deres venn og beskytter, Aslan.

De musikkglade rollene Poppy og Kvist finner ut at de tilhører en av seks ulike trollstammer spredt over seks land. Hvert av landene har sin egen musikkstil; pop, funk, klassisk, techno, countrymusikk og rock. Når kongen og dronningen av rockelandet legger skumle planer om herredømme over alle trollrikene, må Poppy og Kvist forsøke å forene resten av landene i en felles, harmonisk front.
