I mange år har Rolf spilt kjeltringen i det populære videospillet med samme navn. I denne spreke filmen drar han ut på et handlingsmettet eventyr for å bevise for verden at han egentlig er en vaskeekte helt med et stort hjerte. Mens Rolf utforsker spennende nye steder, slår han seg sammen med noen litt spesielle nye venner, blant annet den tøffe, men sosialt mistilpassede Vanellope von Schweetz. Når en ond fiende truer deres verden, oppdager Rolf at hele spillehallens skjebne ligger i hans kjempehender.

Ripley Holden is a small-time entrepreneur desperate to make it big with his new state-of-the-art amusement arcade. The opening extravaganza is overshadowed by the find of a dead body on the premises. DI Carlisle is called in and quickly finds he has more on his mind than murder, when he falls in love with Ripley's long-suffering wife.
