Dief Thunderbolt ontmoet Lightfoot wanneer Thunderbolt in de gestolen auto van Lightfoot stapt om te ontsnappen aan zijn aanvaller. Het duo gaat samen op reis om de buit van een eerdere klus van Thunderbolt op te halen. Thunderbolts vroegere partners hebben echter hetzelfde idee. Als blijkt dat de buit weg is, besluiten ze om de kraak over te doen.
