1980, Texas. Het verhaal volgt een groep vrienden binnen hun eerste jaar op de universiteit. Ze proberen hun weg te vinden door de vrijheden en verantwoordelijkheden tijdens deze eerste jaren van volwassenheid. Daarnaast proberen ze zich nog op te werken tot het behalen van het honkbalteam.
De in ongenade gevallen pingpong kampioen Randy Daytona (Dan Fogler) wordt opnieuw het illegale pingpong-circuit ingezogen als hij gerecruteerd wordt door CIA-agent Ernie Rodriquez (George Lopez) voor een geheime missie. Randy zal undercover een toernooi moeten winnen. Een toernooi dat jaarlijks georganiseerd wordt door maffia-leider Feng (Christopher Walken). Het is gebruikelijk dat de verliezers van het toernooi geëxecuteerd worden.
Een fictief verhaal dat zich afspeelt in de wereld van de pingpongcultuur van de jaren 1950, losjes geïnspireerd op het leven van professionele pingpongspeler Marty Reisman.
Haas en hert zijn twee dikke vrienden. Getekende vrienden, die enkel bestaan op papier. Ze amuseren zich reuze met z’n tweetjes maar op een dag beseft Hert dat er een andere wereld bestaat. Hij wordt heel nieuwsgierig en gaat op zoek naar een formule om uit de tekening, in het echte leven te stappen. En dat lukt hem! Hert is superblij. Maar hoe geraakt hij nu terug bij zijn vriendje Haas?
Korte film: Arthur 'Art' Prince probeert te ontsnappen aan zijn verder onopvallende leven door de 'Sting-Pong'-scene te domineren in een plaatselijke undergroundclub. Wanneer er echter plotseling een mysterieuze uitdager verschijnt, wordt Art gedwongen zijn zelfdestructieve neigingen onder ogen te zien.

Endless competitions take place on the ping pong tables with two young men at the center. Xu Tan is physically weak but strongly passionate and Yu Kenan is unruly but talented. Despite their opposite personalities, Xu Tan and Yu Kenan's mirror the same journey in their sports careers and witness a pivotal time in the history of Chinese ping pong. Xu Tan is a player who undergoes a major transformation. Under the influence of his grandfather, he starts the sport to improve his health and gets noticed for his abilities. Yu Kenan is the star player from a famous family who comes to realize that there are many things he has yet to learn. For their dreams and for the sake of their country, they stand at two ends during the biggest competition of their lives.
Makoto 'Smile' Tsukimoto and his friend Yutaka 'Peco' Hoshino have been playing table tennis together since they were kids, but as they enter high school, they find that the game, and how they see it, has changed. Peco, brimming with confidence and energy, wants to be the best in the world, but the reserved Smile has little fighting spirit and doesn't want to sacrifice others' happiness just to win, despite his innate talent. As the two grow, and experience the ups and downs of the sport – and life – they try to figure out exactly who they really are and what drives them to play.
Inaho Jr. High's Boys Ping Pong Club has only 6 members, the club minimum. Takeda is your average nice guy. Kinoshita is good looking and popular with girls. Unfortunately, the rest are branded as losers. Tanabe is too foreign, while Tanaka is petite and perverse. Maena and Izawa are truly deviant, and their crazed antics have earned the team some powerful enemies. In spite of their differences, the team needs to work together to retain their practice room and club status.
