Vic 'Bomber' Bealer is een knappe, manipulatieve bokser die streeft naar iets groters dan het leven in een kleine stad in Texas. Maar zelfs als zich kansen voordoen, is Bealer te rusteloos en besluiteloos . Ondanks dat hij op het punt staat het Olympisch boksteam te worden, is zijn leven totaal in de war als hij jongleert met relaties met een oude vlam, een meisje dat veel te jong voor hem is, en een grofgebekte trainer.

Een ijshockeyteam uit een kleine stad vecht zich door hun eerste seizoen in een hogere divisie. De dromen van de spelers zijn misschien veranderd sinds hun kindertijd, maar hun liefde voor de sport vervaagt niet.

Pang Kam-Chau is left broke when his ex-girlfriend takes everything from him. Hearing a potential business opportunity with a local football team, he befriends the team coach and is given the title of operation director of the football team. Managing the team proves to be far more challenging than he expected when the players achieve poor grades at school. The football team sponsor wants to hire a famous cram school tutor, Kelly Yim Ka-Lai, to help players achieve higher results in the public examinations, but Kelly's teaching style is drastically different than Kam-Chau's and this results in comedic consequences.
