A lone truck driver drives his load, a ferris wheel, through a remote desert landscape. Trapped in his fears and habits, he hardly dares to step out of the sheltered driver's cabin. His pastime of silhouettes accompanies him on his journey through no-man's-land and beyond the edge of his universe.

Figures that inhabit a world of escalators pursue their desire to consume at a given rhythm. One of the figures is sucked in at the end of an escalator and finds itself in a quiet, weightless room where it joins a playing group. Meanwhile, the escalator world is thrown into confusion by a dog crazy about chips. When the dog is also sucked in by an escalator, a power struggle between the two worlds begins.

A piñata experiences the same fateful day over and over again, on which it is bought by a girl and finds death at her garden party. Shocked, the piñata tries to break out of this eternal cycle.

After spending the night together, a couple parts ways. Guided by the activities of the man's morning rituals, she travels into a dream accompanied by the rhythms of the morning train and finds herself alone once again.

Three kids are trying to stand strong. In a world where you don’t know for what you want to stay strong. Full of sexuality and the need to define their identity. “We are the children with no obligations, the most possibilities, with the most liberated freedom. We are children who build words. Children who give birth to children. We are children of our time, free from guilt.”

In an insect food farm, millions of crickets are being bred, frozen, packaged, and fried. The ordinary, everyday process in the farm is a one-time catastrophe for the crickets and usually ends with their certain death. Nevertheless, one cricket survives and escapes.

A collage of five people from different cultures living in Switzerland. They reflect on life by looking at their origins. The liveliness and diversity of life can be divined.
