The central characters of Jaari are Namsang(Dayahang Rai) and Hangma(Miruna Magar), a married Limbu couple. After a brief argument with her spouse Namsang, Hangma chooses to leave him by giving back his Yuparung (a sacred coin). She then marries a different man after falling in love with him. The jaari is claimed by Namsang and his family, but Hangma's family refuses to pay, forcing Hangma into slavery in Namsang's household until the jaari is paid.

Hamro Team story is of the Nepali version of The Team – Hamro Team, has been written by a group of Nepali writers working closely with Search for Common Ground Nepal and is being produced locally with AB Pictures Pvt. Ltd. Hamro Team, 13 episodes, is directed by Bhusan Dahal. It premiered in 9 June 2011 and concluded in 1 September 2011. The series was originally screened as a half-hour episode on Thursday, 9 pm every week.

Nepali Tara is a Nepali television series which debuted on NTV on 2005; the show is a talent contest to decide the best new singer in Nepal based on viewer voting and participation. Its loosely based on British TV series Pop Idol, but is independently produced and is not a licensed adaptation. The first Nepali Tara was Deepak Limbu from Dharan. The judges panel include famous Nepali singer Deepak Jangam, Bimala Rai and musician Aalok Shree.
