The film centers on the titular character Salvi, a survivor in a post-apocalyptic world trying to save his older sister, Isabel who had been take away during their younger years.

When young sisters Lala and Marlin were orphaned, nobody was there to help them except for an old woman rumored to be an Aswang.

This film explores how environmental issues like climate change drastically affect sea levels and to an extent, the locals who live in coastal villages. At the center of it all is a young boy who is orphaned due to a massive typhoon and loses his ability to speak.
