A divorced woman trying to get hired as a French tutor and teaching classical dance, and she has a daughter. Her brother Manuel also resides in a flat in Chennai. Their next door neighbours are Unnikrishnan, a retired Major who has a pet dog, Prabhakaran and Bibeesh who lives with a serial-actress aunt (not related by blood) and his young school going brother. The story revolves around the divorced mother and daughter finding happiness of love in their own ways. The film explores commonality of romantic love in different stages of life.

The film narrates the tale of Venu, owner of a small finance company in Thrissur. His life is shaken up after some unprecedented events leaving him at a dead end. This movie is about how he finds a purpose to live.

The movie tells the story of a village called Chembattunadu in Chamarajanagar District on the borders of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, which is popular as Chattambinadu for the presence of several goons and hooligans. According to Vadival Vasu (Janardanan), it was the severe animosity between Mallanchira and Kattappilly families that has caused the arrival of several goons to the land, including him, which made Chattambinadu notorious. The film begins with Mallanchira Chandramohan's(Manoj K. Jayan) plan to sell off his mansion, to pay up his heavy debts.

As per the demands of the villagers, the government builds a dam in Vellimala. However, things take a turn when the government decides to destroy the dam as it is marked unsafe.

Shekarankutty, a normal man with a wife and daughter, has trouble when his past as a mafia don is revealed.

Note Out is a 2011 Malayalam comedy film directed by debutant Kutty Naduvil starring Nishan and Mithra Kurian in the lead roles. The music of the film has been composed by Vinu Thomas with lyrics penned by Anil Panachooran. Note Out tells the story of a group of youngsters led by Nishan who lead a care-free life with neither much aspirations nor any definite goals. A smart young girl happened to come across their life which leads to so many unexpected incidents.
