South American Antonio is a simple man who crosses paths with rich oilman Mark Hunter who is hiding from divorce lawyers. Desperate Mark gives Antonio his car in hopes of keeping it out the clutches of his ex-wife. At first, excited Antonio finds the luxurious vehicle causes him nothing but trouble, so he sets out to track down his benefactor and return the car to him. Also released as “Antonio.”

Antonio is at first excited to receive the gift but, when having such a luxurious vehicle causes him nothing but trouble, he sets out to track down his benefactor and return the car to him.

Ray, young and destitute, reaches Desert Spring, carrying a case on top of his mule. A gang headed by Brady uses apparently legal means to prevent anyone from trading and exploits all the town's possibilities for itself. The only one who dares to protest is Sheila, the daughter of a tradesman who has been ruined by Brady. She therefore welcomes Ray, hoping to make him an ally. But the young man doesn't even known how to handle a gun. However, when Brady's men beat him up and humiliate him, Ray decides to stay.
