A team of scuba divers travels to the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific to dive the wreck of the USS Atlanta, which was destroyed and sunk in the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal during WWII. The story of the diving expedition is interweaved with accounts by USS Atlanta veterans, historians, and archival footage and photographs.
