After a few no-gooders from Salley village beat up a boy from a neighbouring village, a long-running feud over a contested forest flares up. With the insurgency at its peak, the rebel commander suggests this dispute be settled through a game of football. In the midst of all this tension a new teacher is appointed to the village school.
