Sėkminga operacija grožio konkurse „Mis Amerika“ FTB agentei Greisei Hart (akt. Sandra Bullock) leido maudytis šlovės spinduliuose. Po to, kai ji apsimetusi viena iš dalyvių išgelbėjo visą konkursą, žiniasklaidos dėmesys tenka tik jai. Tačiau net ir išvykusi į FTB populiarinimo šalyje turą, mis slaptoji agentė negali ramiai atsikvėpti. Ji sužino, kad nusikaltėliai Las Vegase pagrobė jos naujuosius draugus – „Mis Ameriką“ nugalėtoją Šeril Freizer ir konkurso vedėją Steną Fyldsą. Greisė nedelsdama skuba į gelbėjimo operaciją, tačiau tam priešinasi agentės darbdaviai – FTB…
