Elderly, eccentric Miss Pudd (Hepburn) is the owner of a store she considers an antique shop but most would call a junkyard. She frequently refuses to part with her merchandise because of its sentimental value, but she does agree to sell some items to two small boys, Alby and Chris , who are repairing a hot air balloon that belonged to the older boy's grandfather, a stunt man named The Great Sandusky. Based off of the novel, "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King" and the ballet, "The Nutcracker", Sanrio shows their take on the classic story in a stop-motion animated film.

A boy, the son of famous musicians, is kicked out of a music university when he spends too much time with tending plants. A flower fairy helps him out as thanks for his treatment of the plants.

Several animated stories from "Metamorphoses," the Roman poet Ovid's narrative of legends, are presented.
