She has a nibble on her fishing line and reels in a small fish, which she quickly returns to the water.
Superman has to thwart wartime saboteurs tampering with things at the Metropolis Munitions Plant...who have captured Lois Lane and loaded her into a torpedo!
Popeye and Bluto both plan to marry Olive Oyl, but Popeye proposes first. When Olive says, "Yes!" to Popeye, Bluto sets out to make Popeye look bad, break up the wedding, and win Olive over.
Audrey is reading a science fiction comic book called 'Ace' when her mother asks her to wash the dishes. Audrey carries the dishes to a workshop where she has invented a dish washing machine. Audrey continues reading her book while the dishes wash themselves. She is interrupted by a radio broadcast announcing that a flying saucer has been spotted in the sky. Audrey imagines a little green man flying over the city in a cup and saucer, disintegrating everything in its path, She then pictures herself as the hero and visualizes ways to stop the alien attack.
Casper, the Friendly Ghost, attends the circus and frightens the performers. He then encounters a Laughing Hyena that is unable to laugh. Casper, determined to make the hyena laugh, tries many tricks and none of them even sightly amuses the animal, even to the extent of grinning or chuckling. But Casper then does something that accomplishes his goal.
A hungry lion is captured, shortly after being tricked by a hunter. He escapes his cage and robs a hot dog stand. A chase ensues when the police pursue him.

The birth of Baby Huey! The headlines in "Barnyard Eggstra" read: "Duck Lays Huge Egg. Mother Eggcited. Egg To Be Named Huey." A fox steals the giant egg and escapes with it. When he uses a hammer to crack the egg, Baby Huey is hatched. The fox tries to cook the king-size duckling. Huey mistakes the fox for his mommy and thinks that he's just trying to give him a bath. He chases the fox, thinking that the fox is his mother and trying to escape him. In tears, his mother shows up with a milk bottle. Baby Huey is overjoyed: "I'm the luckiest duck in the world, I've got two mothers."
Featuring some entertainment on a showboat and a huge elephant that causes the ship to list. And, of course, a singalong with the Robert E. Lee.
Casper is in an African jungle. He frightens a zebra at a watering hole. Wheezy the elephant has a terrible sneezing problem; he sneezes all the feathers off a peacock and a group of monkeys out of their perches. Casper decides to help, and in the process dislodges the feather that was making the elephant sneeze. But then a fire breaks out, and the elephant is unable to sneeze on command.
