Marina is a woman in her thirties who works organizing weddings. Not because she is an inveterate romantic just because, as she says, "when people are in love, they don't care about money". Unlike her customers, she enjoys a life without ties or commitments, until the moment when she falls in love with Carlos. The problem is not only he is about to get married, but also his fiancee is Marina's childhood friend and they have hired her as their Wedding Planner.

The Greeks then place a huge wooden Trojan horse with Greek warriors hidden inside under the walls of Troy, pretending to be dedicated to the gods and ending the war. Falling for the trap, the Trojans break down the city walls to bring the wooden horse inside.

His wife, bored by his comments, falls asleep and right after, with the help of the warmth of the living room, he falls asleep too. Then, the shadow of an escaping robber comes to life from the newspaper. Suddenly the dreamer wakes up wearing the cop uniform and starts chasing him.
Pagliacci, is a 1948 Italian film based on Ruggero Leoncavallo's opera Pagliacci, directed by Mario Costa. The film stars Tito Gobbi and Gina Lollobrigida. It recounts the tragedy of Canio, the lead clown (or pagliaccio in Italian) in a commedia dell'arte troupe, his wife Nedda, and her lover, Silvio. When Nedda spurns the advances of Tonio, another player in the troupe, he tells Canio about Nedda's betrayal. In a jealous rage Canio murders both Nedda and Silvio. The only actor in the cast who also sang his role was the celebrated Italian baritone, Tito Gobbi, but the film is largely very faithful to its source material, presenting the opera nearly complete.

The set-up here is that Cretinetti has been invited to a friend's wedding and dressed up in a fine new outfit, which so impresses every woman he sees that they wind up pursuing him en masse -- along with a couple of men.

In the end, the gendarmes go to him with a conscription notice and take him away under coercion, under the appalled gaze of his new bride.

Director Carmine Gallone was something of an expert in the field of filmed opera, as witness his Tosca, Rigoletto and Il Trovatore.
