Members of a family quit the polluted, rubbish-strewn city of Beirut for an idyllic mountain home. However, their dreams of a utopian existence are shattered by the construction of a landfill on the boundary of their land.

Sergei and Natalia have fled Russia with their daughters Katya and Natalia and are seeking refugee status in Sweden. Their application is rejected and the younger of the daughters, Katya, falls into a coma like state, known as apathy.

The young punk band "The Rasperries" is touring Sweden in a worn-out van. Along the way, they meet Ava, a charming and intense goth girl who offers them an after-party - while pursuing a dark agenda of her own.

A collective documentary film, from five european directors asked to witness the revolutions and dramas caused in their own countries by the pandemic. Among them, “Two Fathers”, directed by Julia von Heinz (20’). After the death of his father, Hans-Michael von Heinz, the director finds out the truth about her parent true sexual identity. In order to know more, she starts emailing persons who got to know him over the last years, among them his closest friend, director Rosa von Praunheim.

Role-playing and multiple narrative layers are interwoven in a complex and philosophical film about learning, life perspectives, and facing profound changes.

Catalina will see how her vacation is dramatically disrupted by the death of her grandmother, which only she witnesses. A casual gesture - wearing the clothes of the deceased - will become the gateway to a ghostly world that will lead Catalina to literally and figuratively occupy the space left by her grandmother, a fact that will provoke an emotional earthquake among those who love her.
