In the distant future, Earth is no longer inhabited by humans to be the home of the robots. But like us, these robots had many, many tasks and obligations. Trank, a model of good old fashioned robots, living in the city of New Iron. But when the leader of the city comes up with a terrible plan to dominate the planet, precisely Trank is the only robot able to resist. Filled with humor, wit and new friends, the young hero faces obstacles unbelievable as the desert of Amazonia, Forest Electric and powerful machines to make it to the biggest challenge of all: the leader himself.

The story revolves around Shu Ouma, a high school boy who inadvertently obtains an ability called "The Power of the Kings" that enables him to draw out items called "Voids" from other people. He is then thrown into the conflict between a resistance group called Funeral Parlor which aims to restore Japan's independence from a quasi-governmental organization known as the GHQ. In the process, Shu has to deal with the burden his ability puts on his shoulders and the horrific mystery of his past.

In the continent of Cruzon, an impending war between the Kingdom of Krisna and the nation of Athens is brimming. The people of this land are able to use quartz for whatever purpose they desire. Yet one person, Rygart Arrow, is not. He is an "un-sorcerer," a person unable to use quartz. But this characteristic will enable him to pilot an ancient Golem, one strong enough to put up a fight against the invading army of Athens.

All hell literally breaks loose on the day that Millennium Demon King gets "resurrected" accidentally by the God of Light. The unfortunate event leads to countless junior demons rising into the fairy world, threatening to destroy the beauty and wonders of many fantasies. In a desperate attempt to rescue the fairy world from the demonic influence and invasion, the Light of God seeks the help of the 12 Zodiac Warriors to protect and preserve its peace.
