When King Arthur claims the crown, Guinevere is promised to him and she must leave her true love, Prince Lancelot in order to unite the land. In a tale of honor, loyalty and the price of war, Guinevere is forced to choose between the only man she has ever loved and her duty to her kingdom.

Shot live from the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City, this presentation of the 1980 Broadway revival of the beloved Lerner & Loewe classic follows King Arthur, who founds the kingdom of Camelot and the Knights of the Round Table. Their goal: fight for justice and right, but Arthur only sees his ideal crumble when his wife Guenevere falls in love with his favorite knight, Sir Lancelot.

The Adventures of Sir Lancelot is a British television series first broadcast in 1956, produced by Sapphire Films for ITC Entertainment and screened on the ITV network. The series starred William Russell as the eponymous Sir Lancelot, a Knight of the Round Table in the time of King Arthur at Camelot.
