23世紀。カークらUSSエンタープライズの乗組員たちはスポックの故郷バルカン星で暮らすが、船を勝手に動かした責任を取る覚悟で地球に戻ろうと決心。同じころ地球に強力な電波を発信する異星の探査船が接近する。電波のせいで滅亡寸前になった地球だが、カークたちは探査船を送ったエイリアンの目的がザトウクジラだと気付く。エイリアンは太古から地球のザトウクジラと交信していたが、ザトウクジラは21世紀に絶滅していた。

SFホラーを予想させる舞台設定ながら、開拓者VS先住民の死闘を描く、まるで“火星（マーズ）が舞台の西部劇”というべき、血湧き肉躍る痛快編だ。「赤い河」「リオ・ブラボー」などを手掛けた名匠ハワード・ホークス監督を敬愛するカーペンターらしく、男も女も西部のヒーローのようにタフで、ゾンビ風の亡霊軍団と戦って戦って戦いまくる。痛快宇宙ＳＦバトルアクション！ 大勢が火星に移民した2176年。火星警察の女性警官バラードは、ある事件について尋問会で証言する。彼女は鉱山の町シャイニング・キャニオンの刑務所にいる受刑者ウィリアムズを護送すべく、列車で同地へ。だが町には、ウィリアムズら犯罪者数人しかいない。実はある古代遺跡で人類が封印を解き、解放された火星先住民の亡霊たちが人間に乗り移り、大虐殺を繰り広げたのだった。バラードら人間たちと亡霊たちの死闘が始まる。

雲状の巨大な何かが銀河系を通って地球に向かって突き進んでくる。提督に昇進したカークだが、かつて自分が率いたUSSエンタープライズと乗組員たちを、あらためて率いるよう依頼される。カークはそこにかつての部下たちを召集するが、物体は地球まであとわずかという距離に接近。“何か”の中に“ヴィジャー”と名乗る謎の存在がいることを突き止めるが、“ヴィジャー”は自身を作り出した創造主“クリエイター”を捜していた。

一等航海士のライカーとカウンセラーのトロイの結婚が決まり、トロイの故郷ベタゾイドで行われる祝宴に向かうピカード艦長とエンタープライズ号のクルーたち。途中、ある惑星でデータそっくりの不審なアンドロイドを発見。原因不明のまま、ひとまず航行を続けていたエンタープライズに、今度は艦隊司令部のジェーンウェイ提督から長年対立関係にあったロミュランに向かうよう緊急指令が入る。ロミュランに政変が起り、新執政官シンゾンから講和を結びたいとの申し入れがあったというのだ。急ぎ、エンタープライズはロミュランに進路をとるのだった。

銀河系で繰り広げられる近未来の戦争を担うのは、冷酷で従順な戦士となるべく訓練されたソルジャー。しかし時代は変わり、遺伝子操作が生んだ新型戦闘員によって、トッドのようなベテランはもはや時代遅れに。だがトッドがおとなしく処分されると思ったら大間違いだ。火花散るアクションを支えるのが、息を呑む映像世界。動き回る超巨大戦車。地球を追われ、廃棄物に埋もれた惑星で暮らす人々。人間の手に負えないほど発達したテクノロジー。ただのディストピアではない。ここは紛れもない戦場だ。

23世紀。クリンゴン人のある資源衛星が事故により爆発し、同衛星では大気汚染が進み、あと何十年かで同惑星が壊滅する事実が判明する。惑星連邦は講和を申し入れてきたクリンゴン帝国の宰相ゴルコンに対し、カーク船長率いる宇宙船USSエンタープライズの護衛をつけるが、カークの部下スポックが講和を望む一方、かつて自分の息子をあるクリンゴン人に殺された過去があるカークは、講和という事態を受け入れるのに躊躇していた。

人類を同化するというボーグの最初の試みが失敗してから6年。ボーグは再び人類を同化するため侵略を開始した。彼らはゼフラム・コクレーンによる人類初のワープ飛行を阻止し、人類が彼らに抵抗できる技術力を持つ前に同化を完了するために過去にタイムトラベルした。ピカード艦長と彼の乗組員は新たに建造されたUSSエンタープライズEで過去の地球へタイムトラベルし、ボーグの企みを阻止しなければならない。

無人惑星セティ・アルファ・Ｖに、残虐非道なカーンが幽閉されていた。カーンはある理由から、ＵＳＳエンタープライズ号のカーク船長を恨み続けていた。そんな時、この星にＵＳＳリライアント号の乗組員ふたりがやってきた。彼らを捕らえたカーンは、カークの恋人だったキャロルが無から生命を生み出すという“ジェネシス計画”を立てていることを知り、この計画の乗っ取りとカークの抹殺をもくろむ。

地球の中世時代のよう牧歌的な雰囲気をもつバクー人の惑星で調査活動を続けていたアンドロイドのデータ少佐に異変が起きた。実はバクー星は、基地も隊員もホログラム映像で偽装し、惑星連邦とソーナ人が共同で密かに観察していたのだ。誤作動が起こったデータはホログラムを解除、隊員達を人質にしてしまった。エンタープライズ号艦長ピカードはバクーに駆けつけ、ソーナ人のルアフォ総統に破壊されようとしていたデータを何とか回収した。ピカードはデータ誤作動の原因を解明していくうちに、バクー人の惑星は不老不死をもたらす特殊な放射線に包まれており、ゾーナ人が連邦のダワティ提督と共謀してバクー人を強制移住させ、永遠の若さの秘密を手に入れようと企んでいたことがわかった。この計画を阻止すべく、ピカードたちは連邦に逆らってでもこの惑星を守ることを決意、ゾーナの巨大戦艦2隻と戦いを繰り広げる。

宇宙の中立地帯に浮かび、恒久平和が実現したはずの惑星ニンバス3で反乱が発生し、休暇中だったカークら乗組員たちは、USSエンタープライズでニンバス3へ急行する。反乱を率いるのはカリスマ的なバルカン人サイボックだが、彼はカークの部下スポックの異母兄弟だった。ニンバス3で反乱軍に負けたカークたちは敵にUSSエンタープライズの指揮権を奪われ、銀河の中心にある人類未踏の地“グレートバリア”に向かわされる。

車にひかれそうになったルナを助けてくれたのは天文台で働く宇宙翔（あおぞらかける）という青年だった。宇宙に幻想的なロマンを抱く、彼の純粋さに、ルナは次第に惹かれていく。だが、翔には幼馴染の名夜竹姫子という恋人がいたのだ。一方、地球を氷で包み、自分のコレクションにしようとする、プリンセス・スノー・カグヤの魔の手が迫る。果たしてルナの想いは翔に届くのか…そして地球の運命は！？

USSエンタープライズのカーク船長に恨みを持つカーンのせいで、カークの仲間スポックは命を落とし、遺体はジェネシス装置によって生まれ変わった惑星ジェネシスに葬られた。実はスポックは死の間際、自己の魂（カトラ）を仲間のマッコイの脳に移していた。それに気付いたカークはマッコイらとジェネシスに向かう。惑星には先にカークの息子デビッドのチームが到着するが、地球を含む惑星連邦と敵対するクリンゴン人に襲われる。

Out Of This World is an American fantasy sitcom about a teenage girl who is half alien, which gives her unique supernatural powers. It first aired in syndication from September 17, 1987 and ended on May 25, 1991. During its first season, the series was originally part of NBC's Prime Time Begins at 7:30 campaign, in which the network's owned-and-operated stations would run first-run sitcoms in the 7:30-8 pm time slot to counterprogram competing stations' game shows, sitcom reruns and other offerings. Out of This World was rotated with the original series Marblehead Manor and She's the Sheriff, a syndicated revival of the 1983 sitcom We Got It Made, and a television adaptation of the play You Can't Take It With You. NBC ended the experiment after the 1987-88 season due to the low ratings put up by three of the series, with Out of This World being one of the two that was renewed. After its first season the series was largely moved to weekend time slots, where it remained until its cancellation following the fourth season.

For this, they scale a spaceship down to microscopic size and infiltrate it into the infested body.
