1982年の南極。ノルウェー隊のヘリが、1匹の犬を追ってアメリカ南極観測隊第4基地へ現れた。銃や手榴弾を使い執拗に犬を狙うが失敗し、手違いからヘリは爆発。一人生き残ったノルウェー隊員は基地内へ逃げた犬を追って銃撃を続け、基地の隊員を負傷させるが基地の隊長により射殺される。ノルウェー基地へ向かったヘリ操縦士のマクレディらが見つけたものは、自殺し凍りついた隊員の死体、何かを取り出したと思しき氷塊、そして異様に変形し固まったおぞましい焼死体だった。一行は調査のため、記録フィルムと焼死体を持ち帰る。
カリフォルニア州に住むミラー判事(ブラッドリー・ウィットフォード)のもとで暮らしていた雑種犬のバックは、4歳のときにさらわれて売り飛ばされ、そり犬として働いていた。その後再び売られて厳しい環境で重労働を強いられていたところを、一人で旅をしていたソーントン(ハリソン・フォード)に助けられる。世話をされるうちに、ソーントンとの間に信頼と友情が芽生え、彼らは地図にない地を目指す冒険に出る。
幼いころ父であるクロフト卿を亡くしたララ・クロフトは世界各国の遺跡から宝物を発掘する一流のトレジャーハンターとなっていた。父が残した邸宅の中に残された時計を発見したララは、その中に、光のトライアングルを探すカギを見つける。だが、イルミナティの一員である、パウエル一味の襲撃を受け、そのカギを奪われてしまう。
Set in the 1950's, a Japanese Antarctic research exploration team and 19 dogs that accompanied the team are stationed at the Showa Base in Antarctica. After a year, the exploration team is ordered to withdraw from the Antarctic station due to severe weather conditions. The dogs have to be left behind. The following year, the next team arrives at the Showa Base station and a miraculous reunion occurs between a dog handler accompanying the new tean and two dogs, Taro and Shiro, that are brothers.
Norwegian documentary. Lars Monsen wants to be the world's best musher. If he is to be the best, it requires long-term efforts. He has given himself six years to train the dogs and himself.
