Alcune mostruose creature attaccano un piccolo villaggio e un bambino per salvarsi scappa verso le vicine montagne. Il problema è che Doraemon ha lasciato la console del gioco aperta nel passato senza chiuderla e demoni cominciano così ad apparire e a invadere il mondo. Doraemon e gli altri hanno il compito di sconfiggere e far tornare nel passato quei demoni.
Alakazam è una scimmia giovane e coraggiosa che è stata incoraggiata da tutte le altre scimmie a diventare il loro re. Dopo aver raggiunto il trono, diventa rozzo e dittatoriale e non crede che gli esseri umani siano più grandi di lui. Quindi inganna / costringe Merlin il mago a insegnargli la magia (a malincuore da parte di Merlin, che avverte Alakazam che i poteri che acquisisce ora gli porteranno molta infelicità in seguito).
