Dopo vari consulti medici si fa strada una diagnosi incredibile: l'uomo è al quarto mese di gravidanza. La notizia fa il giro del mondo e, con la notorietà, svanisce il tranquillo ménage della coppia.

Rose apprende questo dopo la somministrazione del marito Henry per fermare il suo sogno di Jessie, una sinuosa fumettosa eroina che ha i guanti anti-gravitazionali e ha bisogno di studiare, così da poter risolvere un problema in fabbrica dove lui è ingegnere capo: Henry si sveglia con Jessie addormentata accanto a lui perseguito da un cowboy e un super eroe. La gelosia consuma Rose. Tutto questo più satira allo stato cecoslovacco.
