The ship which supplies Anton Denikin with money, weapons and secret documents gets to the attention of different party units in a Black Sea resort. The small Bolshevik armed unit fights there against the British authority. Its aim is to subvert the supply of weapons to the White Army. The Bolshevik armed unit penetrates the ship, disarms the captain, takes away the money and booby-traps the ship. In order to baffle pursuit the group decides to escape through the swamps. One member of the group turns out to be a traitor. He steals the money. The rest of the group drowns in the swamp.

Nika, who was widowed earlier, will regain the ancestral estate after the collapse of the Soviet Union. There, he will organize a school for disabled children, such as his daughter. A school based on love and kindness soon produces amazing results, but in the village there will be many opponents to this initiative.

The film tells the story of three elderly musicians who preserve the charm of old Tbilisi in their modern life. Kulak Walter's successor, Robert, calls his fellow villagers to form a collective farm. The poor peasantry of the village actively supports his call. The first collective farm of German colonists "Rote Fane" (Red Flag) is created. Local kulaks begin to fight against him. Under the influence of the kulaks' agitation, part of the middle-class colonists went to Germany. The collective farm grows and becomes stronger, and the kulaks weaken. Walter bribes his watchman, old Shakir, and incites him to kill Robert. But Shakir can't beat Robert. He exposes Walter's nefarious intentions and joins the collective farm. A letter comes from the departed colonists, reporting that there is an economic crisis and unemployment in Germany, and expressing regret for following the provocation and leaving the Soviet Union.

There was a good blacksmith in the village. Someone decides to promote the blacksmith and appoints a secretary for him. Later the blacksmith gets his substitute and a cashier. There emerges a bunch of the loiterers around the blacksmith.

In 1905, the son of a revolutionary executed by the king's government continues his father's work. Due to the events of 1917, he is arrested, but he manages to escape and calls the workers to revolt. The revolution broke out in Georgia as well. In these battles, the life of a revolutionary dies, at whose grave he takes an oath of loyalty to bright ideas.
