Frank Cross (Bill Murray) je bezdušni i škrti TV urednik, kojega ništa neće spriječiti da poveća gledanost svoje televizijske kuće. U božićno vrijeme smišlja neukusne i neprikladne emisije s popularnim licima - Robertom Gouletom i Leeom Majorsom poput „Božić među Cajunima“ ili „Noć kada je sob umro“, u kojim se Djed Božićnjak hvata mitraljeza. Cross ima i najnoviju ideju – na samo božićno predvečerje natjerat će televizijsku ekipu da uživo producira „Božićnu priču“ Charlesa Dickensa. Crossov život se mijenja kada ga posjeti njegov stari šef, koji je odavno umro, te tri duha - Duh prošlog Božića (David Johansen), Duh sadašnjeg Božića (Carol Kane) i Duh budućeg Božića, koji će ga povesti u šetnju kroz vrijeme i pokazati mu zašto je postao tako pokvaren i što ga čeka ako se ne promijeni.

After a series of unexpected events, Esteban and Paz meet in the neighborhood where she lives with her family. The chemistry and great understanding that exists between them makes it inevitable that they will fall in love.
