A mosaic of interrelated characters living in the same social housing project and all in search of happiness, forgiveness and meaning.

In a moment of anger in a grocery store in Lausanne, a father loses patience and disciplines his disobedient child. A shocked customer immediately intervenes to express her concern. Other customers join the conversation and the discussion soon turns into a debate that gradually gets out of hand.

Two young boys have stolen some expensive scarves and are being pursued. To get out of town, they hijack a young lady’s vehicle. She ends up following them as they flee.

Leila, who is singularly androgynous, works at a casino in a predominantly male environment. A croupier by night, she returns to her hotel in the early hours of the morning, while Camil, who occupies the room next to hers, disappears at dawn.The first time she sees him, he is leaning at his balcony, his appearance distraught and tears welling up in his eyes.

Despite his marginal and extrovert looks, Jérémie is a shy teenager who keeps a heavy secret: his homosexuality. While trying to find his way between his classmate and sexual fantasy Damien and his very generous but protective mother Gina, his life is about to change.

To escape from a lack of perspective in Kosovo, Hana decides to resort to the services of Emir, an illegal smuggler in Serbia that will drive her to Hungary. On the way, complications arise as Emir's unscrupulous associates try to take advantage of Hana's vulnerability. In the midst of the frozen winter, Hana's courage and determination and Emir's principles and beliefs will be put to the test.

Pedro, a foreign worker in Switzerland, learns that his mother is in hospital in Spain. Isolated from the world on his employer’s farm, he is asked to take one of the cows to slaughter before leaving for his country. Waiting for news from Spain, he arrives late at the slaughterhouse. At this same time, his brother calls to tell him that his mother has died. His world collapses and, still with the cow, he begins a wandering in which he will manage to accept his loss.

A permission, an eternal return, it is in this suspended context, out of space and time, that the gathering of three young men happens, under the bright and suffocating lights of the bank district and the luxury boutiques of the city of Geneva, a symbol of a cold and radical social cleavage. Between masculinity, violence and ethic, everything seems to be made in order for the friends to deconstruct the universe, alone, at the top of the world.

In a great rock quarry, an explosion unveils an object from a different time.

Sissi and Victoria are sisters. Whereas the younger is slowly emerging from the world of childhood, the elder tries in vain to be a grown up. In the room they share, Sissi is preparing for her gymnastic competition and Victoria has boys coming and going.

Philippe, a depressed young man, feels quite oppressed in his flat since his roommate has a new girlfriend. Irritated by her, Philippe destroys the fondue they were supposed to share. Since the accidental death of Diego, the trapeze artist, she is convinced that his act is the target of a curse. During the last rehearsals, Madalena is propelled. In the open air, she catches the eye of Balthazar, the new trapeze artist. Time stops. It's love at first sight. A haunted love story.

Somewhere, in the middle of fields, lives a scarecrow named Gustave. He is hardly a simple inert figure! Don't be fooled! Gustave is very much alive! He even dreams of changing his life. Who knows? His destiny is in the hands of human gods!
