שלהי הממלכה הצלבנית הראשונה בארץ ישראל ונפילתה, דרך סיפורה של אחת הדמויות המרכזיות בתקופה. באליאן הוא נפח פשוט בכפר נידח בצרפת, ששרוי באבל כבד לאחר מות בנו והתאבדות אשתו. גודפרי, אציל צלבני שחזר מארץ הקודש, מגלה לבאליאן שהוא אביו האמיתי, ומציע לו להצטרף אל הכוחות הצלבניים בארץ הקודש. לאחר התלבטות באליאן מחליט לצאת לירושלים, כדי לגאול את נשמתו המיוסרת. בארץ הקודש שמו יוצא לפניו כאציל טוב לב לנתיניו, ואביר אמיץ הנאמן למלך ולשלום בין הצלבנים למוסלמים. שרשרת ארועים מציבה את באליאן בפני הכרעה הרת גורל, בין צו מצפונו כאדם לבין חובותיו למלך ולממלכה.

גירסה מחודשת לסדרת הטלויזיה הבריטית משנות ה-60. מר סטיד וגב' פיל נקראים ללחום ברשע התורן אוגוסט דה וינטר. כפי שמעיד שמו, מתכנן וינטר להשמיד את העולם על ידי שינוי מזג האויר ויצירת סערות טבע. עם גינונים ונימוסים בריטיים אצל הטובים והרעים, בעיטות זריזות ותחכום נשי הופכים "הנוקמים" למצילי העולם וללהיט של הקיץ.

סרט סמוראים יפני קלאסי המתרחש ביפן בשנת 1840, בעשורים האחרונים של תקופת השוגון טוקוגאווה. אחיו הסידיסטי למחצה של השוגון, לורד מאטסודאירה נאריטסוגו, מקלאן האקאשי, הוא שליט רשע אשר אונס, מענה ורוצח. נאריטסוגו נהנה מאוד מאקשן ומלחמות, הוא רוצה להחזיר את יפן מאה שנים לאחור, תקופה של מלחמות בין שליטים, כפרים, סמוראים, נינג'ות ובנדיטים, תקופה של תוהו ובוהו שבה הוא יהיה הקיסר, תפקיד שבקרוב יקבל ורק אז הוא יוכל להגשים את המשאלה שלו. שר בכיר בשוגון, אשר רודף צדק, מבין שאם הלורד יגיע לדרגות גבוהות יותר, השלום ששרר ביפן כבר שנים עלול להיפסק. הוא מחליט לגייס את הסמוראים הטובים ביותר שלו (13 לוחמים סה"כ) ולצאת כנגד השליט ולעצור אותו לפני שיגיע לקידום תפקידו. שפת הסרט: יפנית.

ילדון קטן בשם קוטארו וכלבלב חמוד נאלצים לברוח משגרירים סינים מסיבה לא ידועה. במהלך המנוסה מגיעים הילדון והכלב לבקתה נטושה ושם הם פוגשים בסמוראי חסר-שם שרומז על עבר אפל וכואב שגרם לו לקשור את חרבו לנדנה. למרות רצונו להמנע מעימותים, מסכים הלוחם ללוות את קוטארו ולהגן עליו, והם מתחילים לצעוד לכיוון המקדש בו שהה קוטארו עד בואם של הסינים. גם השגרירים הסינים מלווים בלוחמים ומאבטחים, והמאיים ביותר הוא סמוראי בלונדיני אימתני (שמדבר סינית עם מבטא גרמני) שכל רצונו למצוא יריב ראוי. שליט פאודלי כל-יכול, גנרל מלא גאווה ונזיר שנקרע בין אמונתו לבין הצורך לשרוד, מפגישים את הקבוצות בתקופה הפוליטית הסוערת ביותר ביפן (המאה ה-15 ביפן). בשביל להישאר בחיים, יהיה עליהם למצוא את הכוח והרצון להאמין אחד בשני.

ריצ'ארד לסטר מביא למסך עיבוד סמי-קומי לספרו הגדול של אלכסנדר דומא, בהשתתפותם של כוכבים רבים, ביניהם גם ריצ'ארד צ'יימברלין, אוליבר ריד, מייקל יורק, פיי דאנאוויי, ג'רלדין צ'אפלין ורקל וולש. ד'ארטיניאן הצעיר ומלא האמביציה מגיע לפריז כדי להצטרף למסדר לוחמי העילית של המלך, ומתחבר עם שלושה אנשים מאוד מיוחדים, שיוצאים לסכל את מזימותיו של רישלייה לשלוט בבית המלוכה.

תחילת המאה ה-17. המנצ'ורים השתלטו זה לא מכבר על סין וייסדו את שושלת צ'ינג. כדי למנוע מרד אפשרי הממשלה אוסרת באופן מוחלט על עיסוק באמנויות הלחימה. רוח-אש, לוחם מהשושלת הקודמת מינג, רואה בחוק החדש הזדמנות לעשיית כסף. הוא יוצא בראש צבא אכזרי אל צפון-מערב סין למגר את כיסי ההתנגדות האחרונים ובראשם כפר אמנויות הלחימה. פו קינגזו, מוציא להורג בימי ממלכת מינג, חש במחויבות מוסרית למנוע את שפיכות הדמים המטורפת שהחוק החדש הביא איתו. הוא יוצא אל כפר המורדים, ומשכנע את וו יואנגין והן זאיבנג מהכפר לטפס איתו על הר טיאן האגדי. שם הם פוגשים במאסטר הגדול ויחד מארגנים שבעה לוחמים ולוחמות כדי למלט את אנשי הכפר המורדים. המורדים יוצאים אל המסע, אך עד מהרה עולה החשד שמישהו או מישהי מ"שבעת החרבות" הוא מרגל של רוח-אש. בין הקרבות והמאבקים העניינים מסתבכים עוד יותר כשגם סיפור אהבה משתלב לתוך העלילה. סרטו החדש של טסוי הארק, בכיר במאי ומפיקי הפעולה של הונג-קונג ("היו זמנים בסין", "פקין בלוז"), סרט ראווה עוצר נשימה בסגנון "נמר דרקון" ו"גיבור" פתח את פסטיבל ונציה האחרון לתשואותיהם של הקהל והמבקרים.

Ang Panday or simply Panday is a fantasy television series that was aired in the Philippines by ABS-CBN. Panday Kids is a fantasy Philippine drama spin-off from the novel of Carlo J. Caparas. It is produced by GMA Network. This is a television sequel of the 2009 film, Ang Panday which was starred by Bong Revilla. The cast is led by three child stars, Buboy Villar, Julian Trono, and Sabrina Man.
